How to use these converters

  1. Pick the converter for the item you are buying.
  2. If you do not know your size in any system, measure first. For shoes, start with our foot-measuring guide.
  3. Convert, then confirm the result on the specific brand’s size chart before ordering. Conversions are starting points; brand lasts vary.

Frequently asked questions

Are these converters free?

Yes. Every converter on SizeLoop is free to use, with no account and no signup.

Which converter should I start with?

Start with the item you are buying. Shoes go to the shoe size converter, a dress or shirt to the clothing size converter, and so on. If you are buying for a child, use the kids’ shoe size chart, which uses separate toddler and youth scales.

Do I need to measure myself first?

Only if you do not already know your size in any system. If you wear a US 9 in shoes, the converter does the rest. If you have never bought the item type before, measure first and convert from your measurement.

Why does my size differ between brands?

Brands build on different lasts, the foot or body forms each design is cut around, so the same labeled size can fit differently. Our tables are compiled from brand charts and cross-checked, but always confirm on the specific brand’s own chart before buying.
